two day Marwar Festival is held every year during the month of September
- October in Jodhpur city in memory of the heroes of Rajasthan. This
festival is devoted to dance and music of the Marwar regime. There are a
number of folk dancers who demonstrate there cultural performance during
the festival. They carry pots on their heads and dance for hours.Other attractions of this two-day festival include camel tattoo show and polo. The impressive Umaid Bhawan Palace, Mandore and Mehrangarh fort are the main places where this festival takes place. A lot of tourists come every year to showcase this festivity. |
