Rajasthan Parks & Sanctuary
 Whenever
we think about Rajasthan, the area full of sand and known for its dust
storms and sand dunes comes to our mind. But Rajasthan is not all about
it, there are a number of parks and wildlife sanctuaries in the state.
The topography of the state of Rajasthan ranges from the barren desert,
scrub-thorn arid forests, rocks and ravines to wetlands and lush, green
forests. Each of these areas thus provides scope for a variety of
wildlife, thus becoming home to the most fascinating wildlife
sanctuaries in India.
The state of Rajasthan has some three national parks and over twelve
wild life sanctuaries. These parks and sanctuaries attract a lot of
local as well as foreign tourists every year. Most of these sanctuaries
are open to visitors for almost the whole year except during the monsoon
season. The wildlife sanctuaries in Rajasthan offer some of the best
wildlife tours in India which can be best enjoyed through jeep or on
elephant back. These places provide full excitement for all those who
are looking for adventure.
