In the desert regions, the temperature drops in night. The second season is monsoon season that extends from July to September when temperature is comparatively down but with high levels of humidity. This season is mostly marked by rains. The post-monsoon period is from October till December with overall good temperature. From January till March is the winter season which is always marked with variations in maximum and minimum temperatures. During winters, the temperature may drop to 0oC in some cities of Rajasthan. Rajasthan is a major tourist destination and is thus well connected to all other states and cities of India.
